Delgado Mailed White Powder Then His Victim Testified in SDNY So 46 Month Sentence for Stalking

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - The Source

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Aug 18 – Victor Delgado, aged 70, was up for sentencing for stalking on August 18 before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Kimba M. Wood. Inner City Press covered it.

While Delgado emphasized his age and ill-health, victim Mr. Stringfellow called him a deceiptful man with a scythe behind his back. He sent white powder as threats - and said the Victim send it.

Delgado was sentenced to six months by the state court, then got out and did it again.

Judge Wood said that while few might report it, general deterrence was important. She imposed a sentence of 46 months. Inner City Press is reporting it.

The case is US v. Delgado, 19-cr-732 (Wood)
