SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 9 – Robert
Weekes, a blind man, sued UMG
Commercial Services for having
an inaccessible
website.
On March 9, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
As with so
many website ADA cases, this
one was said to be be moving
toward settlement.
Judge Abrams
offered the services of
Magistrate Judge Sarah
Netburn; she asked for a
status letter by April 15.
