SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 26 –
Music Traveler
Gmbh and Youngjoo "Julia" Rhee
are involved in litigation in
New York that might be bounced
to
Austria.
On March 25, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Music
Traveler bills itself as a
company that solicits
customers to book performance
and rehearsal space for music
and other artistic-related
purposes, like an AirBnB. It
is incorporated in Austria.
Judge Abrams
asked about forum non
conveniens, and if the
case could be in fact be
pursued in Austria.
She asked to be
provided by April 18 with
filing on this issue, and
cited a BCCI case in the 2d
Circuit from 2001.
This case
is Aritomo et al v. Rhee et
al., 21-cv-4875 (Abrams)
