SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 9 – Marcus Gilliam was
managing a Shake Shack in
Lower Manhattan on June 15,
2020 when he was accused of
poisoning three NYPD officers
- he says it was false and
malicious, and he has
sued.
On April 8, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Abrams asked if there had been
attempts to settle. The answer
concerned a mere ten minute
session, described as the
shortest ever.
But they'd be
willing to try it again.
For now, amended
pleadings are due April 25,
and depositions by September
26. There's to be a next
status conference on October
7.
The case is
Gilliam v. Lynch et al.,
21-cv-5263 (Abrams)
