SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 18 – Mockingbird 38 owns
the copyrights to particular
photos of Jamie Foxx and
Justin Bieber. It has sued
International Business Times
for using the photos without
permission or
payment.
On April 16, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Mockingbird
had asserted default by IBT.
But on April 16, talk was of
the 28th of May.
The case is
Mockingbird 38, LLC v.
International Business Times,
Inc., 21-cv-283 (Liman)
