SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 12 – Adlife
Marketing & Communications
Co. sued Pat's Marketplace and
Merlin Printing for copyright
infringement on its
"photographs of food
stuffs."
On September 10 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge Jed
S. Rakoff had scheduled a
proceeding. Inner City Press
called in to cover it.
But the
parties said they have reached
a settlement, only haven't
committed it to an agreed-upon
writing yet.
Judge Rakoff's
staff said the Judge saw no
need, then, for the
conference; just submit the
settlement paperwork into the
docket on ECF.
The case is
Adlife Marketing &
Communications Co., Inc. v.
Merlin Printing, Incorporated
et al., 20-cv-9231
(Rakoff)
