SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 24 – Corey Cooks was
sentenced to sixty months on
racketeering and gun
charges.
On October 22 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Paul A. Engelmayer held a
violation of supervised
release proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Cooks
pleaded not guilty. Judge
Engelmayer gave his view on
how these VOSR cases usually
go, and advised Cooks to not
commit any violations before
the next proceeding on
December 9. He mentioned not
smoking marijuana.
The case is US v.
