SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 19 – Steven Sanchez is
charged with being a felon in
possession of ammunition, to
wit, two .25-caliber Sellier
& Bellot shell casings.
On August
19, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Katherine Polk
Failla held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
Judge Failla
asked Sanchez' Federal
Defender how much time he
needed. He replied, 30 days,
to make sure that in Essex the
discovery can be seen by his
client.
Asked if he
expected motions or a change
of plea in 30 days, the
Federal Defender said that a
change of plea is possible, or
he's say what motions he may
make. The next proceeding is
October 1 at noon.
The case is US v.
Sanchez, 21-cr-407 (Failla)
