SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 22 – Moshe Chaim Panzer
and Joel Epstein are or were
business partners in Fabuwood
Cabinetry Corp. They fought
about ownership and Panzer
sued Epstein in New York State
court. But Epstein removed it
to Federal
court.
On
August 20 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Katherine Polk
Failla held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
Judge Polk
was questioning Federal
jurisdiction and whether the
case should be remanded to the
state.
There was
discussion of the Commerce
Clause and Judge Polk deferred
her ruling.
The case is
Panzer v. Epstein, 21-cv-6886
(Failla)
