SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 3 – Gerald Cooper is
incarcerated and is seeking
compassionate release. He
declined Moderna vaccine but
wants to explain
it.
On October 1 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge Jed
S. Rakoff held an argument.
Inner City Press covered it.
Cooper's
lawyer had written that others
in his facility had painful
side effects, and that Cooper
is been receiving steroidal
shots the vaccine might
interact with.
Now he said it
was moot but mentioned that
some corrections officers are
unvaccinated.
Judge Rakoff
cited stupidity and said the
motion for compassionate
release is under advisement.
