SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 7 – Derrick Dumay sued
Amtrak for an injury sustained
working on Track 5D in Penn
Yard.
On May 6, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Ronnie Abrams
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
On Track
5D, the complaint says, a
train rushed toward him and he
jumped under the motor he was
working on, during injuries to
his knee and
spine.
Judge
Abrams said depositions should
be completed by August 31. A
discovery conference is set
for September 9 at 10:30 am,
by phone.
