SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 3 – Stonington
Capital Advisers and
Southfield Capital LLC are
engaged in litigation about an
arbitral award about a
Placement Agent Agreement for
Southfield's Successor
Fund.
On March 3, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Edgardo Ramos held a
pre-motion conference. Inner
City Press covered it.
The motion
contemplated would stay
discovery and impose a
protective order. Judge Ramos
inquired then said while he
cannot stop any one from
filing a motion, he does not
think he would be inclined to
grant this one.
The case is
Stonington Capital Advisors,
LLC et al v. Southfield
Capital LLC, 20-cv-6053
(Ramos)
