SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 15 – The DCCC has sued the
NYC Board of Elections for a
range of practices; on May 13,
the RNC was granted permissive
intervention.
U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Ronnie Abrams held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it, and tweeted:
... in case by
DCCC against NYS Board of
Elections to ease absentee
voting, etc., Judge Ronnie
Abrams has just granted the
RNC's motion for permissive
intervention.
Now briefing
scheduling being mulled. DCCC
doesn't know when early voting
starts.
In the complaint, DCCC
criticizes NYS Board of
Elections treatment of "Wrong
Church Ballots" and "Wrong Pew
Ballots," and errors by USPS.
Schedule is not
yet set, due to DCCC not
knowing the date of early
voting for primaries. Inner
City Press will stay on the
case.
It is DCCC
