SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 24 – Jaquan Dees was
sentenced to 24 months in 2018
on gun
charges.
On June 23, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
violation of supervised
release proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
In 2018,
Dees' Federal Defender argued
that Dees got the gun "to
protect himself and scare away
anyone who might harm him."
On June 23, with
the same Federal Defender,
Dees pleaded not guilty to the
specifications. A next
proceeding was scheduled for
August 11.
The case is US v.
Dees, 17-cr-719 (Koeltl)
