SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 8 – Lisa Abelow Hedley
wanted art works by Donald
Moffett moved from Florida to
New York. She hired Gander
& White - and the art work
was damaged.
On October
8 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
Judge
Parker inquired into how
seriously the art had been
damaged.
As if a bullet
had been shot through it, the
plaintiffs' lawyer said. The
complaint also describes "blue
paint smudges visible on the
canvas."
Judge
Parker ordered a joint status
letter by November 9.
The case is
Federal Insurance Company v.
Gander & White Shipping,
Inc., 19-cv-7209 (Carter /
Parker)
