SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 28 – In 2012 Mr. Kristen
Hardy was convicted of selling
a Remington rifle and 20
rounds to an undercover, after
domestic disputes with his
then-girlfriend precluded him
from possessing a firearm or
ammo.
He was sentenced
to time served and three years
of supervision.
On September 28 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Kimba M. Wood held a
Violation of Supervised
Release proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
This
Federal proceeding is on hold
pending state charges. Hardy's
lawyer said he doubted the
state charges would be acted
on anytime soon.
Hardy asked that possession he
had on him when arrested be
returned specifically a silver
chain, a baseball cap and $980
in cash.
He was asked for
proof that the latter does not
constitute proceeds of crime,
and he offered to have such
provided, while he remains in
Essex County Jail.
The case is US v.
Hardy, 13-cr-341 (Wood)
