SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 1 – Metal recycling firm
Alliance Metals LLC sued US
Management Services
Corporation for selling it a
defective x-ray Zorba metal
processing
system.
On December 1, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge Jed
S. Rakoff held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
According to the
complaint the machine at issue
was to have processed ten tons
of material per hour,
separating our nearly 100%
pure aluminum from other heavy
metals. But it never lived to
the standard.
Judge Rakoff called the
parties' planned case
management plan "too
leisurely" but he agreed to
endorse it.
Depositions
are due by May 1, 2022 with a
pre-trial conference set for
June 10.
The case is
Alliance Metals LLC v. US
Management Services
Corporation, 21-cv-7948
(Rakoff)
