SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 30 – Thomas Fitzpatrick
sued Boston Market Corp. for
failure to provide timely
wages, under NY Labor Law
Section 191, seeking to
certify a class
action.
On January 28, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Paul A. Engelmayer held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Boston
Market wanted to transfer the
case to EDNY but Judge
Engelmayer denied that,
finding the case not related.
So fact discovery
is due May 24 with a case
management conference set for
June 27.
The case is
Fitzpatrick v. Boston Market
Corp., 21-cv-9618 (Engelmayer)
