SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 17 – New York University
denied religious
accommodations to those who
did not want to get
vaccinated. Now the case is
near settlement.
On July 16, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
case was filed in 2019 against
NYU Hospitals Center d/b/a NYU
Langone, and is about
influenza vaccine.
Even amid the
talk of settlement, the
plaintiffs' lawyer said that
NYU should not disparage his
clients.
The case is Flint
de Castro et al v. NYU
Hospitals Center et al.,
19-cv-5957 (Liman)
