SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 5 – In an
acrimonious jewelry sales
trademark dispute, FRHUEB, Inc
sued Sabino De Freitas Abdala
and Priscila
Patto.
On July 5,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Ronnie Abrams held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
plaintiff complained about the
defendants' communications to
their customers, questioning
their trademark.
While Judge
Abrams did asked "Why did you
do it," she said it was
unclear if it violated the
letter of a previous order
regarding the "Hueb" mark.
She urged the
parties to speak and submit a
letter on July 6.
The case is
FRHUEB, Inc v. Sabino De
Freitas Abdala et al.,
21-cv-7395 (Abrams)
