SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 22 – Tony McNair was
charged with the armed robbery
of a bread truck in The Bronx
in April 2020.
On July 22, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a change
of plea proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
McNair
said he's 30 years old, went
to school through the 10th
grade, in Queens (though he
grew up in Brooklyn). What was
the Federal hook for the
prosecution?
The truck was
serviced with parts from out
of state, the AUSA said, and
the bags the bread was
packaged in. The
sentencing is set for November
1.
The case is US v.
McNair, 20-cr-288
(Liman)
