SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 16 – AllStar Marketing
of Hawthorne, New York has
sued to shut down dozens of
storefronts on the Wish
platform for trademark
infringement.
On November
16, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge John P. Cronan held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
While
AllStar was asking to shut all
the storefronts, Judge Cronan
had questions.
Was everything
they sold counterfeit? And
wouldn't the Wish platform be
hurt as well?
These questions
apply to many similar actions,
such as one before Judge
Swain; they usually begin with
a sealed complaint.
This one is
ALLSTAR MARKETING GROUP, LLC
v. AFACAI, et al., 20-cv-8406
(Cronan)
