SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 11 – Health care
worker Karen Jarrett complains
that Patricia Kane used
American Nurses Association -
New York, Inc. money for her
political campaign in the 61st
Assembly District in Staten
Island in the election in the
fall of 2018 - that that, as a
whistleblower, she was
fired.
On February 11,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Kevin N. Fox
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Karrett
sued for $1 million in state
court. The ANANY removed it to
Federal Court.
Judge Fox ruled
that all discovery should end
by July 19, with dispositive
motions if any due on August
19.
The case is
Jarrett v. American Nurses
Association - New York, Inc.
et al., 20-cv-8174 (Fox)
