SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 25 –
Precision Medicine Group sued
Blue Matter and three former
employees it says stole trade
secrets. On June 25 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Paul G. Gardephe held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Precision
says its three former
employees "all resigned and
commenced employment with Blue
Matter in blatant violation of
their agreements not to, among
other things, compete with
Precision for a limited time
following the separation of
their employment."
At the June 25
conference, Judge Gardephe
said the granting of a motion
to dismiss is unlikely - he
emphasized that the defendants
are free to file one.
He
mentioned the availability of
SDNY Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave for any settlement talks.
But the
case appears that it will move
forward.
It is Precision
Medicine Group, LLC et al v.
Blue Matter, LLC et al.,
20-cv-2974 (Gardephe).
