June 14 – Michael Vasquez sued
NYPD after being detained by
security guards in a Whole
Foods on March 24,
2018.
On June
10, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Edgardo Ramos
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The
incident took place inside a
Whole Foods at 100 West 125th
Street.
Judge
Ramos told Vasquez to
withdrawn his amended
complaint and file a motion
for leave to file a new one by
July 1.
The case is
Vasquez v. City of New York et
al., 20-cv-4641 (Ramos)
