SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 18 – Leslie Rivera was
stopped by police on Watson
Avenue in The Bronx on October
5, 2017 and charged with
parole violations. A lawsuit
has ensued.
On October 18 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
governmental defendants want
to file a motion to dismiss.
Judge Woods agreed that they
can do so, by November 19.
Plaintiff's opposition is sue
21 days later and any reply a
week after.
