SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 9 – Lola Ingram began
working for the NYC Human
Resources Administration in
2009. She is a veteran with a
service connected disability.
But she says she
was asked, Why do you have to
go to the VA every week?" She
sued.
On August 9, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
One of the
questions was why Steven Banks
was being sued, personally, as
Commissioner of HRA.
Judge Koeltl said
the defendants motion for
summary judgment should be
filed by September 24.
The case is
Ingram v. Banks et al.,
19-cv-10246 (Koeltl)
