SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 18 – Alisia Blakely was
injured while working by Track
100 in Grand Central Station
on June 18, 2020. She sued
Metro
North.
On October 18 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Metro North's
lawyer at first didn't answer
Judge Woods question if he was
on the line, then answered
with significant background
noise.
Judge Woods was
not amused, calling it
disrespectful to the time of
the Court and opposing
counsel.
It was
decided that fact discovery is
due February 18, 2022 and any
motions for summary judgment
by May 2, 2022.
The case is
Blakely v. MTA Metro-North
Railroad, 21-cv-5979 (Woods)
