SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 3 – Glen Ross worked as
a freelance camera operator
for CBS until June 25, 2020,
including on the NCAA March
Madness college basketball
tourament. Then CBS fired him,
citing but not specifying
sexual
harassment.
On March 3, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge Jed
S. Rakoff held an oral
argument. Inner City Press
covered it.
The union has
sued on Ross' behalf, citing
higher up harassment by Les
Moonves. Plaintiff's counsel
argued they need information
about the complaints, which
CBS has refused to provide.
Judge
Rakoff listened and asked
questions, then said he had
another matter and will rule
later.
The case
is Turner v. CBS
Broadcasting Inc., 21-cv-3766
(Rakoff)
