SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 10 – Gilbert H. Wild
II, LLC has a website that
says it is "America's Largest
Grower of Daylilies, Iris and
Peonies." It was sued for
being inaccessible to the
visually impaired.
On August
10, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge John G. Keoltl
scheduled a proceeding. Inner
City Press called in to cover
it.
But counsel
were not present. It emerged
that the case had been
announced settled back in
July; only a motion is
awaited.
So the
August 10 proceeding, which
began in its way, ended.
The case is, or
was, Williams v. Gilbert H.
Wild II, LLC, 21-cv-1491
(Koeltl)
