SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 18 – Coleen Caviness sued
Long Island Railroad Company
after, as an engineer, she was
injured while opening one of
the train's bathroom
doors.
On July 15, 2022
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Paul A. Engelmayer held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Engelmayer asked if the
plaintiff had got surgery. No,
was the answer. He said fact
discovery should be completed
by November 15, and referred
the case to Magistrate Judge
Valerie Figueredo.
