SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 17 – Natosha Dunston
sued La Bonne Soupe of 48 West
55th Street for being
inaccessible to people like
her who are bound to ambulate
in wheelchairs.
On August 17, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Liman
gave the parties 30 days, not
90, to state whether the case
has settled. He asked if the
restaurant is up and running
and was told, Yes.
If not settled,
fact discovery is due by
December 8, with a status
conference on March 3, 2022.
The case is
Dunston v. Le Royale, LLC, et
al., 21-cv-3638 (Liman)
