SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 10 – Global Refining
Group, a catalytic converter
recycling and processing
company, sued PMD Analysis and
the couple which owns it, for
stealing trade secrets - and
more than 8000
photographs.
On November 5, 2021 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Global Refining
Group, it seems, believes that
the couple, Robert Turcotte
and Monica Armstrong, are
stalking horses for another
competitor.
On Febraury 24,
2022, Judge Woods held a
conference on Plaintiff's
motion for summary judgment,
which he denied. He asked for
a letter by March 3.
On March 10 Judge
Woods set a new schedule:
expert discovery to June 1,
and a next telephone
conference on July 19.
The case is
Global Refining Group, Inc. v.
PMD Analysis Inc. et al.,
21-cv-532 (Woods)
