SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 3 – Oneil Anthony Gordon
of Jamaica back in 1998 pled
guilty to drug sales; he was
deported in 1999.
On June 3
he appeared, with a series of
"also known as" names, before
sentencing for Illegal
Re-entry before U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Vernon S. Broderick. Inner
City Press covered it.
Gordon
apologized, saying he only
came back because he has no
one in Jamaica, "the only one
I had was my baby mama and now
she's here so I came
here."
Judge Broderick
said he understood but could
not condone. He said many
others are waiting to get into
the US legally. And so it will
be deportation again.
The case is US v.
Gordon, 19-cr-871 (Broderick).
