Office Amid COVID Is Fired, Now Sues

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 1 – Housing court
lawyer Jeffrey M. Goldman
worked from home amid the
COVID-19 pandemic.
But when he said
returning to the office was
put him at risk, he was fired.
He is 70 years old, and he has
sued.
On July
30, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrate Judge Debra C.
Freeman held a discovery
hearing. Inner City Press
covered it.
The talk was of
health records, and Judge
Freeman said things need not
"go back to birth." Five years
were agreed on.
The case is
