SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 10 – Viamedia sells TV
advertising spots to small
businesses on behalf of cable
TV companies such as
WideOpenWest Finance, LLC
(WOW). But now in the midst of
a pandemic, Viamedia says, WOW
is has attempted to terminate
its contract by changing the
ground rules.
On June 10,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Victor Marerro held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Marrero quickly got to the
point.
Rather than
agreeing to stay and action
but keep it alive while the
parties sought arbitration.
Judge Marrero
directed them to respond in
two weeks why the case should
not simply be dismissed.
It is Viamedia,
Inc. v. WideOpenWest Finance,
LLC, 20-cv-4064
(Marrero).
