SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 15 – UPS delivery driver
Anthony Gresch has sued UPS
under the Family Medical Leave
Act after he put in for FMLA
leave.
On June 14, 2022
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Katherine Polk Failla
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
UPS
wrote to Gresch, your absence
is unauthorized and your
employment is terminated.
On June 14 Judge
Failla denied Gresch's motion
to examine the UPS computer
system, but extended fact
discovery through the expert
discovery deadline and asked
for a status letter before an
August 10 pre-trial
conference.
The case is
Gresch v. United Parcel
Service of America, Inc. et
al., 21-cv-5383 (Failla)
