Trade Secrets Case Against Veeva To Come to Trial July 18 in SDNY After Judge Switch

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC-Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN NY Mag

SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 16 – Medidata sued Veeva System for theft of trade secrets. That was in 2017.

On May 16, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Jed S. Rakoff held a conference. Inner City Press covered it.

The case was reassigned to Judge Rakoff by Judge Lorna G. Schofield, with the understanding that the trial will still start on July 18.

Judge Rakoff told the parties he has another trial that day, but it may settle. In any event, he will begin on July 18.

The case is Medidata Solutions, Inc. v. Veeva Systems Inc. et al., 17-cv-589 (Rakoff)
