SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 12 – Samantha Scotti sued
Long Island Railroad Company
after being injured by a
window.
On July 12, 2022
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Katherine Polk Failla
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Failla inquired into the
health of the plaintiff, and
if she had been promoted to
conductor.
Her
counsel said he was 99% sure
that yes, but that the injury
had been serious, and the
window problematic for some
time.
Judge
Failla ordered the depositions
of fact witnesses be completed
by October 17, with a
pre-trial conference on
November 15.
The case is
Scotti v. Long Island Railroad
Company, 22-cv-3294 (Failla)
