SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 18 – Michelle Francis
sued the Department of
Education after being sexually
harassed and assaulted in a
classroom in PS 97 in The
Bronx.
On July 14,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Katherine Polk
Failla held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The
plaintiff says the sexual
harassment was by James
Gonzales, then retaliation by
Principal Katheleen
Bornkamp.
Judge
Failla inquired and then said
that fact discovery is to be
completed by January 13, 2023,
with a next conference on
January 27 at 3 pm.
