SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 22 – Valdez Simmons,
previously convicted of
domestic violence, is now
accused of possessing a .380
caliber Kel-Tec model P-3AT
pistol.
This is according
to an indictment on which
Simmons was arraigned on June
22 before U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge P. Kevin
Castel. Inner City Press
covered it.
What arose is the
the indictment was not from
the SDNY in lower Manhattan,
but a grand jury convened in
White Plains.
Simmons
lawyer inquired into this, as
of defense counsel have. There
will be more on this, and
Inner City Press will cover
it.
This case is US
v. Simmons, 20-cr-294
(Castel).
