SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 6 –American International
Industries was sued for
asbestos caused by its Clubman
Talc talcum powder.
It replied that
the plaintiff may have been
made sick by this parents, who
served in the US military in
Guantanamo
Bay.
On
December 6, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Debra C.
Freeman held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
AII in
writing has asked Judge
Freeman to so-order a subpoena
directing the National
Personnel Records Center to
release plaintiff's mother's
military records.
AII says the
mother may have been exposed
to asbestos on naval ships and
may have placed her son in a
day care center with
asbestos.
On December
6 there was talk of other
products with the same
substance.
The case is Gref
v. American International
Industries, et al., 20-cv-5589
