SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 17 – Oluwaseun Olubukola
Ogunbambo is charged with
identity theft and U.S.
passport fraud. On June 17 he
appeared before U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alvin K. Hellerstein. Inner
City Press covered it.
At first
the problem was no video. But
that was waived.
The
docket, delved into by Inner
City Press, has allegations
that the defendant is wanted
in Nigeria for "fraudulently
obtaining fuel subsidies and
absconding from
Nigeria."
Before Judge
Hellerstein, things were more
procedural. Motions were
deemed due by July 1, with an
oral argument for later in the
month.
The case is US v.
Ogunbambo, 19-cr-895
(Hellerstein).
