SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 19 – Christine Gunning
was arrested in 2011 in an
organized crime human
trafficking and marriage fraud
conspiracy. She turned into a
cooperator.
On June 19
she appeared for sentencing
before U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Victor Marrero.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Gunning
told Judge Marrero she did it
because of an abusive
relationship. Her lawyer
recounted her cooperation with
Maimin and urged a time served
sentencing, citing health
issues as well.
Judge Marrero
agreed, granting time served.
The case is US v.
Gunning, 11-cr-614 (Marrero).
