SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 10 – Workers sued
Starbucks and asked for a
motion to compel provision of
information. Starbucks
responded by asking for
sanctions.
On
November 10 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered
it.
Plaintiff Rafael
Fox used to manage 11 stores
for Starbucks, including at
405 Broadway.
Paul
D'Auria was a pest control
technician. Fox says he was
fired for reporting "a
sighting of a product called
'Hot Shot No-Pest
2."
Judge
Netburn denied both the motion
to compel, and also Starbuck's
motion for sanctions.
The case
continues. It is Fox et al v.
Starbucks Corporation,
19-cv-4650 (Nathan / Netburn)
