SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 20– In 2015
proceeding in forma pauperis
Ms. Ariteshoma Dodoh filed a
civil lawsuit to collect on a
debt in the U.S. District
Court for the South District
of New York.
On May 20 she
alone appeared before SDNY
Judge Edgardo Ramos, seeking a
judgment for $156,750 plus
costs against Agunloye
Development Corporation, which
did not appear at the
telephonic hearing. Inner City
Press did.
Judge Ramos
asked Ms. Dodoh is she has
access to ECF to view the
order he would issue.
She said she did
not; not PACER either. He
asked for her mailing address
in West New York, New Jersey.
And later that day he signed
an order for the $156,750.00
plus $2395 in costs, and
directed the Clerk of Court to
close the case.
But will she be
able to collect? The case is
Dodoh v. Agunloye et al.,
15-cv-7160 (Ramos).
