SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 15 – Jose Soriano pleaded
guilty to a role in importing
20 kilos of cocaine from the
Dominican
Republic.
On December
15 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Kimba M. Wood held his
sentencing. Inner City Press
covered it.
An issue that
arose was surrender date.
Soriano's Federal Defender
said it should be after
federal inmates are vaccinated
for COVID.
Judge Woods said
phrasing it that way would be
too inexact. She chose March
31, 2021.
The case is US v.
Soriano, 19-cr-327 (Woods)
