SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 2 – Joshua Liner said
the apartment given to him by
a family member has been
occupied by squatters and he
blames NYS Governor Kathy
Hochul. He sued her, and NYPD
officers.
On July 27, 2022
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Ramos listened patiently,
first to the plaintiff then to
the Governor's lawyer saying
why the case should be
dismissed.
He set a schedule
for the motion to dismiss,
with the the motion due on
August 17, and Liner's
response due September 7.
The case is Liner
v. Hochul et al., 21-cv-11116
(Ramos)
