SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 9 – Cynthia Duran
sued Stat Medical Answering
Service for failure to pay
overtime, setting forth five
separate
counts.
On December 9, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Woods
noted the lack of
responsiveness of the
defendants, but also said that
even unopposed, the plaintiffs
had proven liability only for
counts 1 to 3 and not 4 or 5,
and had not proved damages for
which he will refer the case
to the assigned Magistrate
Judge for an inquest.
The case is
Duran v. M.S.T.A.S. LTD. et
al., 20-cv-9228 (Woods)
