SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 9– Iconic IP Holdings,
LLC sued Gerrit's Brands, Inc.
over its trademark to
"Teaberry
Gum."
On August
5, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Edgardo Ramos
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Ramos
acknowledge that he had never
heard of Teaberry Gum, but
that it might be well known.
Still, after
arguments on the topic,
including one that most of the
papers and witnesses are in
Michigan, he transferred the
case to the Southern District
of Florida.
The case is
Iconic IP Holdings, LLC sued
Gerrit's Brands, Inc. et al.,
